November has finally arrived in Northwest Indiana, and the first weekend of the month is packed full of fun events for the whole family! From plays, to stargazing, delicious treats, and more, there’s sure to be something for everyone happening in the Region this upcoming weekend.

Enjoy the arts with Merrillville High School’s production of “1984”

Merrillville High School’s Thespian Troupe will be performing its fall production of “1984” on November 3, 4, and 5 at 7 p.m. and November 6 at 2 p.m. in the Reinhart Auditorium. Tickets will be available at the show, with discounts being offered to students and seniors. All proceeds from concessions go towards scholarships for seniors planning to study theatre in college. Stargaze with Purdue University Northwest astronomers at the Gabis Arboretum

Purdue University Northwest (PNW) is hosting a stargazing party on November 4 beginning at 7 p.m. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the moon and stars with PNW’s astronomers.
