HannaFest 2015
HannaFest is our annual town festival that celebrates the history, culture, heritage, and people of the Hanna, Indiana community.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
To add a twist of fun to our 2015 season, we're going to get the audience involved! We all remember the days gone by of classroom spelling bees. Now we present a spelling bee like no other! Welcome to The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!

August First Friday Art Walk in Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District
The Michigan City Mainstreet Association is pleased to present the First Friday Art Walk in the Uptown Arts District on August 7, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. The Art Walk features local merchants hosting an array of artists and entertainment for free enjoyment for visitors, adults and families alike. 

Free Movies in the Park Coming to Downtown Portage
We are excited to announce that we will begin our Movies in the Square program. Our first family movie will be Friday August 7th at Founders Square. The movie will be Disney Pixar’s “Up” and will begin at 8:30 pm. 

4th Annual WHAM Ride
Registration for this year's WHAM (Whiting, Hammond, Highland, and Munster) Ride is live. Search WHAM on Active.com to register. In the area? Register in person at the Hammond Marina or Aquatic Play Center at Wolf Lake. We're back with more fun and more trails. Still just $25! Wham will again offer a long and short route option along with breakfast behind the stage upon the completion of your ride. 

Beatles Music Festival
The 10 Year Anniversary of the all-ages Tribute to The Beatles Music Festival! Celebrating 10 years with an incredible lineup of 10 bands, including the MegaBeatles (featuring members of The Crawpuppies and the Chris & Lou Band), Beatolution, Nomad Planets, Yoko Banjo, Rooftop Beatles, Rhythm Scholar, Josh McCormack, Rocketboat, Rising Dawn, and more. 

Pints in the Park
Don't miss the 2nd annual Pints in the Park! It takes place at Wicker Park in Highland and promises to be a great time! 

Taste of La Porte
August 8 is the Taste of La Porte! The annual event that celebrates food from the local area starts at 3 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. on the lawn of the La Porte Civic Auditorium, located at 1001 Ridge Street in La Porte. There will be a variety of restaurants from La Porte County serving sample sized portions of their food along with beer from area breweries. Local bands HiFi2WiFi, Gunpowder Treason, and Junior and the Igniters will perform throughout the night. There's fun for the whole family with bounce houses, craft vendors, and more. 

Headlock on Hunger
2015 Headlock on Hunger Knocks Hunger Out! Get ready for one of the most exciting event in Portage! The 2nd annual Headlock on Hunger event is set for August 9, 2015 at Texas Roadhouse of Portage. This event brings the community together to have fun, enjoy summer, and most importantly to raise funds for the Portage Food Pantry.
