Northshore Health Centers 3rd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza
Northshore Health Centers will host their 3rd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 19th from 1pm - 4pm at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Portage unit, located at 5895 Evergreen Ave. in Portage. 

"Think, Eat, Live Green" Spring Garden Show
La Porte County Master Gardeners Spring Garden Show- Saturday, March 19, 2016. Fun and informative day for the WHOLE family, to be held at Michigan City High School from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. CDT. 

Simply Amazing Market Easter Open House
Opportunity Enterprises’ Simply Amazing Market is blooming with festive Easter baskets, candy, fudge and decorations this holiday season. This year, the Simply Amazing Easter Open House will be held on Saturday, March 19th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at OE’s main facility located at 2801 Evans Avenue in Valparaiso. 

Hammond's Annual Easter Egg Hunts
Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation invite Hammond residents to bring children ages 12 and under to the Annual Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, March 19th. There is no charge to attend. 

Kiwanis Easter Breakfast with the Easter Bunny Easter Egg Hunt & Candy Drop
The City of Portage Easter Egg Hunt & Candy Drop is scheduled for Saturday, March 19th at Woodland Park in Portage. Plan on coming out early for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! 

Washington Park Easter Egg Hunt
The 2016 Michigan City Police Department will once again host an Easter Egg Hunt at Washington Park at 12pm on Saturday, March 19th, 2016. 

Duneland Chamber Corkscrew and Brew
Set in Chesterton’s beautiful Thomas Centennial Park, the First Annual Corkscrew & Brew will gather local wineries and breweries for this springtime tasting on Saturday, March 19at 12 PM - 4 PM. There will be food available for purchase as well as music to be enjoyed by all. This event is a fundraiser for the Duneland Chamber of Commerce and Thomas Centennial Park. 

VU Public Astronomy Programs
The physics and astronomy department at Valparaiso University continues its series of public astronomy programs for spring 2016. Each evening will include either a telescope viewing on clear nights, carried out with the Valparaiso University computer-controlled telescope, or a constellation program on cloudy nights.

La Porte County Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert
The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra Children's Chorus is pleased to present their annual Spring Concert, Bloomin' Melodies, on Saturday, March 20, 2016. Located at Bethany Lutheran Church, 102 G. Street, La Porte, the doors will open at 2:30 pm and the performance will begin at 3:00pm. This concert is free and open to the public. 

Check Out a State Park for Free
To celebrate Indiana's Bicentennial, the Indiana State Library has given State Park passes to all Indiana libraries, including Lake County Public Library locations. You can rent one of these passes like a library book and get into any of the 32 Indiana State Parks and State Reservoirs, or any of the three State Forest Recreation areas where entrance fees are charged for free. Each library has one pass that can be checked out for a week at a time. The passes will be available all year long and all you need is a library card!
