Portage Brewfest
Friends of the Portage Township YMCA will host the 2nd annual Portage Brewfest on Saturday, October 24th. As the region’s craft beer industry rapidly grows, so does the public’s interest and curiosity about it. To satisfy their thirst for knowledge about these new brews, people are turning to beer festivals like the Portage Brewfest so they can choose to sample from dozens of beers in a safe environment for one flat price. The idea of try-it-before-you-buy-it is appealing because a person can quickly discern if a beer isn’t to their liking and dump it out then try a different flavor; a luxury few people could afford to do when buying full-size servings at a bar.

OAKtoberfest
