Griffith Oktoberfest
Come out to Griffith's Oktoberfest 2015 in Central Park. There will be a wide variety of food, live German music, a family beer garden and lots of fun for the kids. Friday Oct 9 (4 to 11:30 pm), Saturday Oct 10th (noon to 11:30 pm), and Sunday Oct 11th (1 to 9 pm). All three Griffith craft breweries will be added this year and will be serving their Oktoberfest beers.
Fall Gigantic Indoor Garage Sale at Porter County Expo Center
Back by popular demand, the Porter County Expo Center’s FALL Gigantic Indoor Garage Sale is coming on Saturday, October 10th! It is truly a bargain hunter’s fantasy filling three heated buildings totaling over 33,000 square feet with hundreds of booths packed full of bargains just for you! Bring your shopping bags and totes, because you will not go home empty handed. Early Bird Admission will be $5 from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, with General Admission of $2 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 pm! Children age 12 and under are free.
Portage IMAX FreeQuent FMG Movie Series
Goodrich Quality Theaters presents the NEW FreeQuent FMG Movie Series! As the name implies, those belonging to our Frequent Moviegoer Club (FMG) will be able to see any movie below free-of-charge when they present their FMG card at the box office. Each member will get up to 6 free admissions with their FMG card per show. Admissions must be redeemed in a single transaction. Non-members will be charged $1.00 per ticket.
Robbinhurst Golf Course's 4th Annual Chili Open
On Saturday, October 10th at 10 a.m., we are bringing back the Chili Open! This will be a four-person scramble. Two competing teams will play together in the same group. Chili lunch, entry, golf and prizes are all included for only $40 per player! Each player can receive one mulligan for a canned or non-perishable food donation! South Haven Lions Club Italian Buffet Dinner Charity Event
The South Haven Lions Club is sponsoring its annual Italian Buffet Dinner Charity Event on Sat October 10, 2015 from 5-7 pm at the American Legion Post 502, 429 W 750 N in South Haven. A great selection of Italian foods will be available. All proceeds fund the club's "Less Fortunate Family Christmas Program". Adults: $11; Family of 4: $26; Ages 6-12: $6.
Harvest Time Corn Maze
At Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch, we are humbled to recognize Lowell's own Hometown Hero, Officer Nicholas Schultz, by dedicating this year's corn maze design to his family and the families of all those lost in the line of duty.
