Tickets for the 19th Annual Delta Theta Tau Winter Gala to benefit Opportunity Enterprises are now on sale, and may be purchased on-line at www.oppent.org or by contacting Chris Schneidt at 219-464-9621, ext. 233 or christene.schneidt@oppent.org. Tickets are $80 per person.

The event is scheduled for Friday, March 11, in the Valparaiso University Harre Union Ballroom, from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

Join us as we unveil our newly redesigned event for 2011. The night will feature elegant hors d’oeuvres from around the world, a cash bar, a silent auction, and music and dancing, as well as a new “Denim and Diamonds” theme. Dress is casual with an elegant twist – jeans are encouraged, diamonds are welcome!

Proceeds from the event will be matched dollar for dollar by the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation, and will support growth and development of Opportunity Enterprises’ Lakeside property. Acquired in 2007, OE Lakeside, a 158-acre parcel of land and water on Lake Eliza, currently houses two day service programs – Enriching Possibilities, which offers a variety of programs designed to fit the needs of individuals with multiple or severe disabilities, and the Renewed Horizons Adult Day Center, which provides a comprehensive and structured environment for senior adults with developmental disabilities. Together, these programs serve just over 100 adults with disabilities each day.

Event sponsorships are also available at a variety of levels for both individuals and businesses. For sponsorship information, please contact Corporate Relations Liaison Dave Collins at (219) 464-9621, ext. 208 or david.collins@oppent.org.

Since the first Winter Gala held in 1993, the event has raised nearly $900,000 to support OE’s programs and services.

Since 1967, OE has been a non-profit organization dedicated to creating sustainable life choices and opportunities for individuals with unique challenges and abilities. For more information, visit www.oppent.org.
