2-Part Workshop Focuses on QuickBooks Basics

indiana-sbdcThe Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center is offering a two-part workshop on QuickBooks Essentials from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays Feb. 18 and 25 at the Purdue University Calumet Academic Learning Center, 9900 Connecticut Drive, in Room 221.

Facilitator Anna Sheets, of Accounting Made Simple, will detail core bookkeeping functions for both the new and frequent QuickBooks user. Class topics include: accounting primer, getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up.
