2-Part Workshop Spotlights QuickBooks Essentials

nwi-sbdcThe Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center is presenting a two-part workshop on QuickBooks basics from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays July 21 and 28 at the Purdue University Calumet Academic Learning Center, 9900 Connecticut Drive, in Room 221.

QuickBooks Essentials Part One is a resource for the daily QuickBooks user. Facilitator Anna Sheets, of Accounting Made Simple, will outline core bookkeeping functions including: accounting primer, getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up.

The fee is $100 for the two-part workshop. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required as there is limited seating. Serving seven counties in the region, the NWI SBDC offers no-cost assistance for entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses.
