The 9u Valparaiso Vikings Travel Baseball Team have taken the Runner-Up tle in the BPA Super State Tournament during the weekend of July 6th-8th in Warsaw, IN. The 9u Vikings were seeded 1st in the Tournament after Pool Play going 2-0, with wins, 17-1 and 11-6 against the Middlebury Thunder and Michiana Scrappers, respectively.
During the Semi-Final Game the Vikings played the Middlebury Thunder once again and beat them 8-5. In a close State Championship game against the Michiana Scrappers, and coming up on the short end of a 7-6 score, the Vikes went home with a second place State Tournament Finish and Trophy.
