Valpo Schools need your help! We need to meet the demands of rising costs and growing needs while ensuring the quality in education we need for our students. Our goal is to raise $150,000 for the 2014-2015 school year.
The money raised will provide the funding to award grants to the classroom for the students of Valparaiso Community Schools. It will also provide the added funds needed to promote and enhance the education of our students. As you know, this is where education starts in the classroom. We want our students to get the best we can
The end of another year and another great class graduating from Valparaiso High School on Friday, June 6th! We wish our new graduates much success on their journey of growth and development!
The Valpo Schools Foundation will be having a “Cash for Class Raffle” this fall in September. We invite all of you to participate and buy a ticket or two to support the Valpo Schools Foundation. This past year we gave away over $11,000 in grants and over $34,000 in scholarships. Our goal is to increase this amount every year. Giving back to the students and teachers is a great way to show appreciation for Valparaiso Community Schools.
Our goal is to sell 3,000 tickets at a cost of $100/ticket. We encourage all of you to buy as many tickets as you wish. After the prize money has been paid, all proceeds will go for grants for the classroom. If all 3,000 tickets are sold, first place prize winner will receive a check for $100,000.00! Check the attached flyer for more information. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT GRADUATION BETWEEN 5:30-7:00 IN THE LOBBY!
We ask that you consider supporting Valpo Schools Foundation in one or more of the following ways: Purchase one or more of the “CASH FOR CLASS” SUPER RAFFLE TICKETS. Be a sponsor/ donor. Donate an item for our Wine Tasting Auction in November. For example, we are in need of event tickets, sporting tickets, airline tickets, or the use of a vacation home.
