The Greg Kirby Klassic, originally set as a six-game tournament for 32 girls basketball varsity teams from June 20-21 at Valparaiso High School and Benjamin Franklin Middle School, has been canceled due to lack of enough teams participating, new VHS girls basketball head coach Candy Wilson said Friday.
The event was originally scheduled to honor hall of fame coach Greg Kirby with a couple of days of exciting girls basketball.
