The 2019 Chevy Blazer has the distinct honor of being a debut vehicle at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show, and the all-new crossover lends a comfortable name to a vehicle heavy on options to meet just about any driver’s personality.
Simply put: variety is key. Six different trim levels offer comfort and luxury features: L, Blazer 2.5L Cloth, Blazer 3.6L Cloth, Blazer 3.6L Leather, RS, and Premier. Front and all wheel drive models are offered in this five-seat wagon, with 193 horsepower on the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine, and 305 horsepower on the 3.6-liter V6. Both engines are paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and the maximum towing capacity is rated 4,500 pounds.
Car buffs have picked up on the sleek Camaro-like features in the his new design, with hints of sportiness and curves at the front end. Other features depending on the trim package include Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, 4G LTE in-case Wi-Fi, remote start, and heated steering wheel. The 360-degree camera emerges as a highlight in the safety package that also includes rear camera mirror, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and pedestrian detection.
