4th Annual Battle of the Badges Basketball Tournament to Benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County

Battle-of-the-BadgesThe Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County, South Haven Unit, will host the fourth annual “Battle of the Badges” Basketball tournament beginning on Tuesday, May 10th at 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday, May 11th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with the finale Championship game scheduled for Thursday, May 12th at 6:30 p.m. All games will be held at the South Haven Boys & Girls Club, located at 723 Long Run Road in Valparaiso.

The Portage Police Department will try to defend their title against other participating police and fire departments including the South Haven Fire Department, Porter County Sheriff’s Department, Boone Grove Fire Department, Valparaiso Fire Department, Valparaiso Police Department & Lake Station Police Department.

All proceeds from “Battle of the Badges” Basketball Tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County. Admission to the game is only $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children with. Concessions will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. and throughout the entire tournaments. The traveling trophy will be handed out to the winning team immediately after the completion of the championship game.
