The 5th Annual Pet Blessing at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will take place Sunday, October 3, at 2:00 pm. Bring your pets, friends and friends' pets! Pets must be on a leash or in a secure cage. 
Pets of all faiths, denominations, breeds, sizes and healthy or ill are welcome. We'll remember and celebrate the life of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, and the environment with a short service of lessons and a blessing prayer over each animal. Refreshments will be served!
Admission is any donation for the Porter County Animal Shelter, such as dry or canned dog or cat food, dog or cat bowls, dog or cat toys, pooper scoopers, non-scoopable litter, old pillows, towels, blankets, old stuffed animals, detergent, paper plates, bleach, paper towels.
