The fifth grade volleyball team 1 is on a roll! On Saturday, the team defeated St. Mary's Crown Point in two games. On Sunday, the girls easily defeated St. Stan's of Michigan City in two games. Isabella Jardenil was the top server over the weekend making 25 out of 26 serves in four games. Madison Rowley, Hailey Cook and Jacklyn Ivers all had excellent overhand serves.
The crowd was cheering for the overhand serves. Claudia Nicksic also had a series of serves that started the girls off to a good start for game 2 on Saturday. Ava Hiller, Jessica Fazekas and Allison Shears also contributed to the wins with good passing.
The girls have really come together to play as a team.
