Ninety-four area high school students will be honored May 11 for their excellent work in career and technical classes. 
The students represent 10 high schools—all public high schools in Porter County, plus Hobart High School. They will be inducted into the Technical Honor Society starting at 7 p.m. at the Wheeler High School auditorium.
The students have achieved a “B” or better average in their career/technical class of four or more credits. They have been nominated by a CTE teacher, endorsed by another instructor, and approved by the selection committee of area superintendents. The students represent about 10 per cent of this year’s career and technical students.
