A Century 21 Alliance Group Spotlight: Nancy Naggatz

Nancy Naggatz may have been out of real estate for a few years, but she’s no stranger to the business. After a 20-year hiatus to raise a family, Nancy is back and ready to commit her career to creating happy clients.

Nancy received her real estate license 29 years ago and was a practicing agent from 1990 to 2000. When her middle daughter was born, she decided to leave the business and devote herself to her children. Since then, Nancy kept busy as a parent volunteer, delivering snacks to soccer practices and carpooling to countless dance lessons and piano recitals. Now that the youngest of her three daughters is preparing to leave for college, Nancy is ready to turn her attention back to her professional passion.

“The 150% I gave to my family will now be directed towards my customers. I’m excited to get back to what I love doing, which is matching people to their perfect home. When I help a client find the right home and get to witness how happy it makes them, I know I’m doing what I’m meant to do. It’s where it hits me in the heart.”

Nancy joined Century 21 Alliance Group in August of this year and was quickly named top sales agent of the month for October. That recognition was exactly what Nancy needed in her first few months back in the game. “That was a huge accomplishment for me. It gave me such a sense of personal satisfaction and has motivated me to work even harder.”

Nancy’s rapid success can be attributed to her experience, natural sense for the business and high standard of customer service.

“I enjoy being back in the workforce and having that challenge. Real estate comes naturally to me. It’s not a job, it’s a career. I’m very assertive and I understand the importance of following up with clients. I make it a point to connect with people, listen to their wants and needs, and follow-up. Whether it’s through texting or phone calls, clients deserve quick and clear communication.”

As a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, Nancy is always searching for opportunities to further her involvement in the community. She recently became a member of the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce and is in the process of joining her daughter as a volunteer at Lakeshore PAWS. She recently adopted her dog, Morgan, from Lakeshore PAWS and he has already become “the light of her life.”

Aside from her life as a listing agent and local volunteer, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband, being in nature and interior decorating. She has an eye for design and is always willing to give clients staging tips to ensure their homes show beautifully to potential buyers.

Nancy is excited to kick off this new chapter in her career with Century 21 Alliance Group. “Century 21 is the best company. I believe it has one of the best reputations in the area and the most ethical realtors in the business. Jeanne is a wonderful leader and the overall attitude of the office is positive, helpful and motivating.”
