Following a great “Ladies’ Night” last week, it was the guys’ turn Thursday night for Albert’s Diamond Jewelers’ annual “Men’s Night.” From free massages, whiskey tastings, to casino tables, it was a night the guys won’t soon forget!
More than 400 men filled the showroom at the company’s Schererville store for a fun-filled night and a chance to finish their holiday shopping. Attendees received $1k in “funny chips,” and at the end of the evening were able to redeem them for prizes. Proceeds from additional chips purchased went to “Aaron Tory’s Toy Drive.”
Tensions were high at various points through the night, but it was all in good fun. Men got to try their hand at blackjack, poker, craps, and roulette.
“I’ve been coming to this event since it started, and I love attending every year,” said Munster resident Craig Chism. “It’s a great time talking and playing with everyone here, plus it allows me to purchase a [Christmas] gift for my wife.”
It’s been a big month for the jewelry destination store. Albert’s raised and donated more than $300k to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, not including the store’s other charitable events this year.
“We always try to incorporate charity into our events,” said Christine Martinez, Albert’s Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Specialist. “Josh’s kids host a toy drive ever year, and at Ladies’ Night they bring toys—at Mens night, we use the money to buy additional toys.”
“It’s a way of giving back to the community,” said Josh Halpern, President of Albert’s Diamond Jewelers. “It’s great seeing everyone’s excitement as they enjoy themselves and shop.”
Since 1905, Albert’s has always been committed to giving back to the community and creating an individualized experience for its customers.
“Through the years, I’ve gotten to know Fred, Josh, and the whole family here,” Chism said. “Everyone should be here, it’s a blast.”
