The Valparaiso High School gymnastics team, ranked first overall in the state, sent four of its team members to the 2011-12 All-Duneland Athletic Conference team this season.
Morgan Algozine, named the conference’s Most Valuable Player, leads the first-place Vikings along with Allyson Kraft, Allie Lazerwitz, and Hannah Erwin on the team. The Portage Indians sent three team members to the team, and Michigan City, LaPorte, and Chesterton each sent one.
