The children’s department of the Lake County Public Library, 1919 W. 81st Ave., accepted a $300 donation from the Altrusa International Inc. of the Indiana Dunes to go towards a school age Lego Club that will be offered in the library. These clubs are very popular and appeal to a large audience, but especially to young males who are normally hard to reach. Lego Clubs help develop small motor skills and social skills, as well as entertain children.
