Alzheimer’s Association to hold “Wandering and Dementia”

Over 60 percent of people with dementia will wander.  Find out how you can help. alzherimers-association The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Indiana will host “Wandering and Dementia” on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, from 2:30–3:30 PM at the Portage Public Library, located at 2665 Irving Street in Portage, IN.

“Wandering and Dementia” will include information on triggers that provoke wandering and ways to decrease the incidence of wandering.  This program will also cover the Medic Alert/Safe Return program, Comfort Zone and the Silver Alert, a new law that assists in the safe return of missing/endangered adults.
