Back on August 9th, 2010, we announced our second iPad giveaway to a lucky ValpoLife member. Our first giveaway was such a huge hit that we couldn’t help giving out another.
The only requirements for being entered to win? Become a member, log in, and leave a comment on the site.
So, after a flurry of new commenters and conversations, we’ve been able to select our latest winner.

How We Selected the Winner…

We started a database of comments, each with their own ID # (a pool of 434 comments) - We went to Random.org, a website with a “True Random Generator” widget
- We set the generator to select a number between 1 and 434
- Number “130” was selected by the generator
- The comment in our database with the ID of 130 was Catherine Anne Brown on the Folks That Are Not Morons Awards blog post:
“I feel I have lived a successful life if I can get to my forties and be declared 'Not a Moron". This is a great and hard accomplishment. I am proud of myself. (Except, I feel a tad bit moronic for being in my bathing suit while everyone but Bryan Truitt is dressed nicely).”
