Our Annual Scout Popcorn Sale is in progress!
The Popcorn Sale provides 22% of the operating budget that supports our 3 camping properties, the Morris-1st Source Scout Service Center in South Bend, and Scouting Programs throughout the 8 county area served by LaSalle Council. It is also an important fundraiser for the 37 of 39 Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops in Valparaiso, Chesterton, Kouts, & Hebron.
Last year Popcorn Sales by Porter County Scouting Packs and Troops totaled nearly $200,000. 70% of those sales benefitted LaSalle Council and local Scouting unit programs. Last year 30 Cub Packs and Boy Scout Troops raised to fund their unit programs and raised a similar amount for La Sale Council.
