The “Take A Kid Fishing” program teaches youth the fundamentals of fishing including how to cast, work with live bait, and foster a love of fishing and nature. Prizes will be awarded to Club members for catching the biggest fish, smallest fish, most fish, prettiest fish, and ugliest fish. Dr. Larry and Patty McAfee and Mike Blythe will treat all participating Club members to a hot dog lunch and swimming party after fishing is complete.
