Children’s author and illustrator Rick Chrustowski recently visited the four Duneland Elementary schools of Bailly, Brummitt, Jackson and Liberty. He talked to students about how he gets his ideas for writing, showed them how he does his own illustrations, and the different phases necessary in publishing a book.
He also explained the process of getting a book published that includes editing it many times before it is actually becomes a book.
