The Valpo Phoenix girls fast pitch softball 10u & 12u will all be having a fundraiser on Saturday February 6th At 2:00 in the Field house at VHS. 
The Bases 4 bucks fundraiser event is to help raise money the team needs to play a higher level of fast pitch softball. The money raised will go towards tournament fees, uniforms, equipment and practice facility fees.
The Valpo Phoenix girls have had the terrific opportunity to help out Mayor Jon Costas in his Haiti relief fund. At the fundraiser, they will be joined by the Mayor as he cheers the girls on. The Valpo Phoenix will then be donating $1,000 of their funds raised to the Mayor's Haiti cause.
The girls encourage friends, family and neighbors to sponsor them with a flat rate donation for the event. The day of the event Feb.6th players will run a total of 1,000 bases!
This event is designed to provide an opportunity for these 9-12 year old girls to understand that this team building event can only be achieved through hard work and dedication while promoting exercise and healthful activities for our youth.
