The 7th grade “A” team won another battle last night by beating Michigan City 45-31. Drew Paul led the team with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Alex Yiankes chipped in with 9 points and 3 assists. Cole Wolf scored 8 and pulled down 5 rebounds. Mike Girman had another solid performance by scoring 6 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Jake Pancek put in some big minutes and scored 6.
Kyle Kaminski and Max Jindra finished off the scoring by chipping in 2 points each. Nice job hustling down the floor boys!
With the Wolves of Michigan City howling into Boucher gym, the cold air followed them down from the North, chilling da Region and the shooting touch of the 8th graders in the first half. But after falling behind by 20 points, the Vikes rumbled back to within 5 before falling 42 to 37.
Leading the scoring, Neil Whitfield threw down 13 points, followed by Triston Rouse and Trent Fortson, who each sunk 8 points. Triston also led the team in rebounding, assists and steals for BF.
