The 8th grade football team humbled Hobart with a 35-6 win last night. Andrew Sykes completed 5 0f 7 passes for 112 yards to lead the air attack. Angelo Madrigal scored 3 touchdowns, caught 2 passes for 71 yards and rushed for 102 more. Trent Fortson caught 2 passes scored a touchdown and added 26 yards on the ground. Taylor Scheidenberger scored the final touchdown on a 29 yard run. Caleb Dawson was 5 for 5 on extra point kicks.
The defense was led by Trent Fortson with 10 tackles. Other tackle leaders were Angelo Madrigal, Michael Kurtz, Caleb Dawson, and Nate Cornett. Jacob Gholston recovered a fumble while Mark Johnson and Nathan Smith recorded interceptions.
