“You know, I’m a sucker for anything that combines savory flavors with sweet ones, especially when it comes to meats, fruit, and cheeses (I could probably live off of charcuterie boards, don’t be judgin’ me). So this sammie really did it for me! Pears and brie? Absolutely. I’ll take 12 sandwiches, please,” said Kayla Belec, Contributing Editor.
“I’ve always loved brie with grapes or apples, but I’ve never thought to put it with pears. The earthy taste of brie and the sweetness of the pear was a perfect match to the savory ham. This is a good Sunday Brunch kind of sandwich for sure,” said Stacey Kellogg, Editorial Director.
“I loved how creamy and smokey the brie was, it offsets the sweetness of the pear and saltiness of the ham. It was delicious,” said Stephanie Swearington, Director of Operations and HR.
“I’ve had brie, ham, and apricot, but I think the pear was a good idea. It added the perfect amount of sweetness,” said Naphtalia Ruth, Executive Assistant.
