The BMW of Schererville’s weekend-long OctoberFest was held from Friday, October 14th – 16th, 2011, and gave the team an opportunity to engage, support, and have some fun with their customers, the driving or car enthusiast, and the communities they serve.

Everything kicked off on Friday for Customer Appreciation Day, where customers of BMW of Schererville were treated to a diverse range of ethnic appetizers from six of the best executive chefs in Chicagoland, along with raffles throughout the day.

“Many people may not know or really recognize how embedded BMW of Schererville is in the community. This whole weekend is an opportunity to give back and say thank you. A lineup of eight bounce gyms lined Sauzer Drive. The huge tent included circus games, face painting by Hopscotch the Clown and Friends, a coloring contests, and there was also a free pumpkin patch, with a hayride driven by members of the BMW of Schererville team. The dealership provided free food, games, and prizes for everyone who attended as well.

Sherrie Matthew of Print Solutions orchestrated the whole event, which was quite an undertaking, and was happy to be helping the kids with the games, flipping burgers, and taking hundreds of pictures throughout the weekend.

“The wanted to connect to each of the families they service with the multiple events,” said Matthews. “I really enjoy being part of that family helping them put this all together.”
