Recently, Jackson Elementary hosted a book fair at the Valparaiso Barnes & Noble book store to coincide with the release of the new book "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." Activities lead by Jackson faculty and staff included a musical program, a "make your own bookmark" art activity, storytelling by Principal Dr. Rugg, yoga exercises and a reader's theater.
Barnes and Noble donated a portion of the evening's purchases to Jackson Elementary.
