Bookbinding Workshop with Bill Barrick

Chesterton-Art-CenterThe Chesterton Art Center will be hosting a Bookbinding Workshop with Bill Barrick on Saturday July 14 from 10-2:30. The workshop is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. People ages 16 to adult are invited to participate. Students will create their own hard bound sketch book or journal using reclaimed materials and ancient bookbinding techniques. A list of supplies necessary for the class can be obtained from the Chesterton Art Center.

Bill Barrick is a Graphic Designer who has owned his Valparaiso-based business called “ExoGraphic Design” for 12 years. He currently teaches the Graphic Arts Vocational program at Christian Haven and designs devotional books for DreamWords and Living Hope Publishers. Bill is dedicated to preserving and advancing the ancient crafts used to produce the Book.
