The Valparaiso Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County, located at 354 Jefferson St., will be having summer flag football signups for ages 9-13 
from June 3rd to June 24th (or when league fills, whichever comes first) between the hours of 10am-4pm Monday through Friday. The league will have one age division. This is an instructional league based on fun and learning the fundamentals of the game. The cost of the league is $10. A current membership is also required, which is only $25 for an entire year of available activities and programs. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
The league will start the week of June 30th and end August 11th. All ages practice and play on Wednesdays 10-11:30am. There will be 45 minutes of practice followed by a 45-minute game. All practices and games will be at Kirchoff Park, weather permitting. Days of rain or high heat will be played in the gym at the Valparaiso Boys & Girls Club. Youth should be dropped off at Kirchoff Park and can be picked up at the Boys & Girls Club.
