In anticipation of the Sixth Annual Mayor’s Charity Ball to be held this fall, 
Mayor Jon Costas and the Mayor’s Charity Ball Committee have put out a call for local non-profit organizations to submit a letter of consideration to be a recipient of the funds raised from this event.
Letters of consideration should include information about the charity and the intended use of funds received from the Ball. Recipients will also be given time that evening to speak about their organization, its purpose, and to share how the additional funding from this event will benefit their efforts. Requests should be addressed to Lori Good, Valparaiso City Hall, 166 Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN 46383. All requests need to be received by June 1, 2010.
