It seems like there is always something fun and exciting going on around here as we "spread the Word throughout Valparaiso, Northwest Indiana, and the World." What a joy it was last Sunday to receive the little children into our community last Sunday. I just loved it!
This Sunday the worship leader for one of Africa's largest churches will be on the stage with our own Kurt Felsman for what will prove to be one of those unforgettable Sundays at Calvary. I will be continuing my current sermon series and this week I'm going to talk about how to discover your calling! On Sunday evening, former NBA star Roger Powell (currently assistant to Coach Bryce Drew) will be speaking to our teens. Wow!

Covenant Group

Catalyst Membership Class
Is the Lord leading you to make Calvary your church home? Then, we would encourage you to consider church membership. Our Catalyst Membership Class is designed to help you learn our history, values, and ways to get "plugged in". It's also a great chance to make new friends! The next class begins tonight and continues through Wednesday, 5.28 from 6:30-8p.
Children's Ministries

Men's Ministries
May 15th is the Band of Brothers Movie Night at Calvary Church. The men of Calvary Church and their friends are invited to an invigorating evening in The Well to watch an epic classic - Gladiator. Our evening will take place from 6:30-10p. Following the movie, we will have a light discussion on "Our role in The Larger Story."
Student Ministries
Connect and Reliant Students will both have guest speakers this Sunday, 5.18! Also, just a reminder that we will not have Connect or Reliant next Sunday for Memorial Day weekend, 5.25. We hope you will enjoy the time with your families and friends!
We are so excited for our upcoming Semester Grand Finale and Senior Night on Sunday, 6.1, from 4:30-6:30p! It will be a huge, combined event for Connect and Reliant middle and high school students. We will have time to celebrate our graduating seniors and have an awesome feast! Students will not want to miss it!
Informational Meeting
Have you noticed it getting really cozy around here? We have too! So we have begun planning to make room for more in our facilities. We will hold an informational meeting on Sunday, June 1, to share with you our plans for church growth. Please come and hear from our elder chair, Jon Costas, at 9:45a or 11:15a in the gym.
Discover Israel
Calvary's first ever 'Discover Israel' study tour (February 1-12, 2015) will be in partnership with GTI Tours and led by a Jewish tour guide with a masters degree in Middle Eastern History from the prestigious Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
