Calvary Link: 100

Calvary-Link-Set-FreeWe're on a mission at Calvary Church: we want to change lives forever with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As C. S. Lewis put it, "The church exists for nothing else but to draw people into Christ, to make them little Christs." We see this happening right in front of us at Calvary from students to senior saints. The ancient gospel is attracting people to our community and that gospel is changing lives.

What do we do then if there isn't room for everyone? Last Sunday we had to turn visitors away at our 9:45a service because there was no room in the Worship Center or Family Overflow Room. As a pastor, this breaks my heart. So I'm on a mission to ask for 100 volunteers to join me at the 8:15a service until we can figure out what to do. That will make space for 100 new people in the overcrowded later services.

We are working with architects and consultants to begin construction on the church expansion as soon as possible, and we’re considering other ways to make room for more in the meantime. Joining 100 volunteers moving to the 8:15a service for awhile is one way you can help change lives forever.

If you can’t make it at 8:15a, I’ll see you at 9:45a or 11:15a. Whatever you do, don’t stay home! This Sunday is our last in Galatians, and our worship leader, Kurt Felsman, is back from Kenya with a story or two about how God is changing lives on the other side of the world.
