Calvary Link: A Hot Sermon Series

Lionel-WifeIt's been a "hot" sermon series on marriage--and we aren't done! Last week was so much fun preaching God's Word to you on a hot summer day in July. I've heard from so many of you who have said this mini-series on Marriage and Divorce in the gospel of Mark has really blessed you. This week I'm going to take an entire sermon and talk about how we can resolve conflict. Jesus calls us to be peacemakers--and I'm going to talk about how we can "make peace" at home--and in other relationships.

If you have missed any of these sermons--I really want to encourage you to listen online or read my Miscellanies Sermon blog! I'm looking forward to worshipping with you and the best worship team in the region this Sunday. And I'm not exaggerating about our worship team. Haven't we been so blessed!?! Come and invite a friend so we can learn how to have more peace in our lives!

I hope you are enjoying your summer. And I hope you will make the worship of our incredible God who has given us all things to enjoy a very high priority this weekend!!!

For Your Joy--

Lionel

Student Ministries
Reliant High School students and Connect Middle School students are invited to join us for the Fandana Music and Arts Festival, 8.2-8.3. We will leave the church early Friday morning and drive to Huntington, Indiana for a day filled with good Christian music! We will arrive back to Calvary late Saturday night. The cost is $50 by 7.28, or $60 after 7.28. For more information, contact Kalina Smith (kalina@calvaryweb.net) or call the church office (462.4026).
