Calvary Link: Are You Plugged In?

calvary-link-headerI still remember one of the old houses we lived in when my dad was a pastor. There was only one wall outlet in each room. You could plug things in--but it was a lot of work. At Calvary we have decided to have all kinds of outlets for getting people connected to the community. Yes, you have to make a little effort to get plugged in--but it's not hard to find an opportunity. From daily devotions to weekly worship and everything in between--from students to seniors and everyone in between--there are many ways to get plugged in; find friends and grow! If you are not a Calvary Church member--we are making it easy this time around. You can attend our Catalyst Membership Class at 9a on Sunday mornings--and then go to worship at 10:45a starting this week. Hope you will pray about making Calvary your home.

I am right in the middle of getting ready for my exposition on Sunday. Jesus is going to get into an argument with the religious leaders and teach everyone some lessons about the heart (Mark 7:1-23). We are also going to eat and drink together in celebration of the Cross while being led in song by the best worship team in the region!

We know it's getting crowded on Sundays, but what a great way to stay warm in the wintertime! You can help us by arriving a little early so that we can focus on the worship of God for the full hour! And if you can't find a parking spot--there is more parking available at TJ Middle School.

For Your Joy--

Lionel
