I walked through the future Life Change Center with some of the other pastors last week. The progress is amazing! New construction isn’t pretty, but it’s still a thing of beauty: new walls are framed out both upstairs and down and essential utilities are in. Who would have thought plumbing pipes could be beautiful? But I’m telling you, they looked good to me because with those in, we’re one step closer to a complete transformation. (Next step, drywall!)
Change and transformation is what this project is all about, but not for the buildings. For people. When we kicked off the Even More initiative last spring to build support for the church expansion, we had one thing in mind: We want to see more lives changed through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you to the hundreds of you who are already generously giving! If you haven’t heard about Even More, the Life Change Center, or the main building expansion, or you haven’t gotten involved yet, you can check out our Even More page for details on the project and how you can help.
We’re not waiting on a church expansion to share with people that Hope Has a Name and Jesus can change their lives forever. That’s already the mission of our church! Be praying with us that lives will be changed this Easter weekend, and invite a friend or two to join you on Easter Sunday.
Join me on this Sunday morning as we continue our series The Way. I can’t wait to share with you from Acts 25 and 26.
If you didn't hear on Sunday, there is still time to get your application in for a summer internship with Calvary. Use your gifts to change lives forever while getting valuable first-hand ministry and organizational leadership experience for your future.
We hear back often from past interns now working in communications/media, education, full time ministry, and other great careers. Calvary is a great place to develop valuable skills and work experience. Join our team this summer!

Men's Shelter @ Calvary
Calvary hosts a shelter for homeless men on Tuesday nights from April through October. Volunteers must be male, will work a 3-hour shift, and can choose to serve once or on a regular basis. Contact Mike Tym for more information.
No RSVP needed for this informal, monthly drop-in gathering at area restaurants. Join us to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
