What a Sunday we had last week with our friends from Nairobi Chapel. Wow! It has been a personal joy to have one of Africa's finest leaders in my home for more than a week. Not only has the fellowship been sweet, but also we have been dreaming about how God can use our churches to have an even greater impact in our own communities and in the world. We also did some planning for 2014, when our friends will be joining us again. I can't wait to share those plans with you.
Please keep in mind that we are launching a brand new Sunday morning worship line-up on September 15. Three identical, vertical, God-glorifying worship services at 8:15a, 9:45a and 11:15a. We are going to do this together so we are asking you to consider volunteering in a Sunday morning ministry area (if you are not doing so already). We will also be asking you to help make room for more by committing to one of the 3 services. Later, we will tell you how you can let us know which you’ve chosen. For now, we hope many of you will consider coming a little earlier—or a little later—to help make room for more growth. It's a small sacrifice to make for a BIG cause!
I'm so proud of you for making summer worship a priority in your life. We return this week to the gospel of Mark—and we will once again enjoy God together with the best worship team in the region.

Children's Ministries
We need you! If you have a passion for kids and connecting them to Jesus Christ, we would love to have you join the Rock Solid Children's Ministries team here at Calvary! We have many opportunities to serve on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights at our AWANA program, and during the week in the office! Rock Solid Kids Children's Ministries is excited to announce that Move Up Sunday will be on 8.18! All children will be promoted to their next grade level. Please note, children join the 2's, 3's or 4/5's classes immediately after they turn ages 2, 3, 4, or 5, respectively. Saturday, 8.10 is the yearly Canoe & Kayak Trip at Tippecanoe State Park. Plan to meet at Calvary at 8:30a. Dads are welcome and encouraged to bring their kids! Seniors and Retirees

Covenant Groups
Covenant Small Group Ministry is the primary vehicle for discipleship and care within the Calvary family. Joining a small group is essential to getting “plugged in”. Open registration for the next session is Sunday, 8.11-8.18. If you are interested in registering for a Covenant Group then please fill out the application card in your bulletin this Sunday. Then plan to attend one of the four orientation classes offered in the Banquet Room during each of the worship services on 8.18 & 8.25.
Student Ministries
Reliant High School Students are invited to join us Sunday night, 8.18 from 6-8p! Come see your friends, enjoy some food, and learn about your Savior!
Connect Middle School Students can join us Wednesday Night, 8.21 from 6-8p for an awesome night full of fun activities! We will be playing games, eating pizza, and learning Biblical truths that will help you to grow in your spiritual walk!
