Calvary Link: Even More

Calvary-Link-Even-MoreOn Sunday we launched our EVEN MORE generosity initiative and unveiled our new plans to impact Valparaiso and the world! If you missed it, we also announced that God has already provided more than $2 million toward our dream. Can I just say, Wow?! Thank you for helping us make the floor plans better and more beautiful. If you haven't seen the latest plans, you can check them out in the church foyer. I am committed to praying every single day that God will change us through this generosity initiative and use us to change even more lives forever.

Hey, don't forget to get up an hour early THIS Sunday to arrive for worship on time. It's the start of Daylight Savings Time. I know it's going to be a little harder to roll out of bed on Sunday morning, but just think, more daylight! And you can always catch a nice Sunday afternoon nap. We especially need our 8:15a worshippers. Come on, you can do it. I'll be there with you, and we'll have the coffee on!

Enjoy the warmer weather, and don't forget Easter is just around the corner. See you on Sunday!

What's New at Calvary...

Daylight Savings Time
The start of Daylight Savings Time in spring usually means the 9:45a and 11:15a services are extra-full at Calvary. We'd love to see you at the 8:15a! Plan to go to sleep early on Saturday, rise early on Sunday morning, and we'll have hot coffee and fresh pastries for you before we gather to praise God together at 8:15a.

Easter Weekend
Easter Sunday is March 27. Join us at Calvary for a sunrise service at 6:45a or at 8:15a, 9:45a, or 11:15a as we celebrate the hope of Jesus, our risen Savior. Childcare is available for infants through preschoolers at all four services. Calvary Kids programs are available for k-5th grade at 8:15a, 9:45a, and 11:15a.

Good Friday is our time to pause and reflect on the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us. Through song, prayer, and Scripture, we remember together and prepare our hearts for the celebration to come. Services are 4p & 6p. (Infant through preschool childcare available during both services.)

Calvary Kids Leaders Needed
Step in to help families celebrate Easter! Calvary Kids needs willing people to care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers on Good Friday (4p or 6p) and Easter. (6:45a, 8:15a, 9:45a, or 11:15a). Spend an hour sharing the joy of the Easter weekend with little ones as parents are refreshed in worship services. Contact Victoria Evans-Peasley (victoria@calvaryweb.net) to help.

Calvary Students Concert of Prayer
Calvary Students have their first combined Concert of Prayer on Sunday 3.13 at 6:30-8p. (Note the time change for middle school students.) This is a time for both middle and high school students to pause and reflect on the approach of Easter and God's desire for more people to come to know Jesus Christ through the campus expansion project.

Compassion & Care
The church is among the first calls to make when a need arises. Pastor of Compassion and Care Jerry Grafton ensures those in our community have the support they need in times of crisis or need. Call on us when you want prayer for a difficult situation or a calm and reassuring visitor during a hospital stay or other crisis. Contact Pastor Jerry directly (jerry@calvaryweb.net) or call the church office (219.462.4026).
