Last summer I was biking with friends in Southwest Michigan on a steamy day in July. We ventured out on a long trail and returned to the shores of Lake Michigan after a two-hour ride. We hadn't planned on taking a swim, but those waves looked too inviting. We went all in! And the cool water was refreshing.
God’s grace is like that—a refreshing pool just waiting for you to jump in. Grace is found in church. It’s found in community. It’s found in the Word. It’s there, just as inviting as the shores of Lake Michigan on a hot summer day; all you have to do is take the plunge.
Can I encourage you to jump in? Jump in with your Life Group and spend some time at the beach or in the backyard this summer. If you're not in a Life Group, come to Summer Life Nights and meet new friends. Jump in with a Serve Team or with Calvary Kids to serve at Vacation Bible School (one of the best weeks of the summer). Be in the place of worship for God Songs again this Sunday. My prayer is that this summer you will dive deep and let the grace of God refresh you.

Grab your camp chairs or a lawn blanket for the biggest worship event of the year! We’re celebrating our great Father together at Central Park in Valpo. Come early for a good spot and stay after to enjoy the summer afternoon with friends.
