We begin a NEW season in the life of our church this week as we move toward spring. God likes NEW things—new mercies (Lam 3:22), new songs (Ps. 96:1), new people (2 Cor. 5:17)—even a new earth (Rev. 21:1). This Sunday we start a new series titled Beautiful Church, verse-by-verse through Paul’s letter to Titus. The entire series is about how our calling as Christians is to make the Gospel beautiful!
This Sunday I’m also introducing to you our NEW youth pastor! Sometimes we find our best staff members in Canada or California, but sometimes we find them right here at Calvary. Pastor Mark Lackey, one of our own, will be pouring his energy and passion into our students! Wow! We have BIG dreams for our kids…AND we have dreams to reach every student who is disconnected and discouraged in our church and our region. Mark and his beautiful wife Kelly are such an awesome gift to our church!!! Join me as we pray for them this Sunday morning.
One reminder: We had nearly 1300 in worship last Sunday, and we really need a few more families to attend the 8:15a service if you can, just so that we have room for everyone. What a great problem to have!!!

Please join us for our fourth annual "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner"! Sign-up to be a host or a guest and have an opportunity to enjoy dinner with some anonymous guests from Calvary on Saturday, 3.1 or Friday, 3.7. This event is for all ages (18 and older), singles, widows, or couples. You can pick up a registration packet at the Guess Who's Coming to Dinner table in the foyer on Sunday.
Tabletalk
Join Jon Nitta, Pastor of Spiritual Formation, in the gym on Sundays at 9:45a for a time of "Tabletalk"! In the month of February, Tabletalk is focusing on how a person grows as a Christian. We will be considering how inner transformation happens, why we know so much and keep on sinning, and what God is doing when our spiritual life feels dry. This discussion will frame how we approach the disciplines in the Christian life!
Men's Ministries
Have you signed up for the Brothers in the ARC event at Valparaiso University this Saturday, 2.22? (Please note the change in time for this event).
