Jesus went to church, and so should we! Sunday we will look at the synagogue service when Jesus did the Scripture reading and then sat down and gave the most startling one-sentence explanation ever given. It started His public ministry, which Lionel is following so well in Mark's gospel, so it has a great tie to that series.

Speaking of church, thanks be to God and also to so many who helped last Sunday at the park downtown. It was for sure joyful and good. Way to go! It makes me grateful to be tied to this strong and gracious church on such an important mission, started by Jesus the Christ.

Student Ministries
Reliant High School Students are invited to join us for our annual Cedar Point trip! You can get involved in this exciting trip by signing up at Youth Group or emailing Kalina Smith (kalina@calvaryweb.net). There is limited space available, and sign-ups are first come, first served! The cost is $75 and it is due this Sunday at Youth Group.
Connect Middle School Students can join us tonight, 6.19 from 6-8p for an awesome night full of fun activities! We will be playing games, eating pizza, and learning Biblical truths that will help you to grow in your spiritual walk!
Children's Ministries
Children ages K-5th grade are invited to share in Vacation Bible School’s awesome week (7.15-17 from 5:45-8:15p) of Bible stories, action-packed songs, memory verses, cool crafts, games and snacks. Register before and after services on 6.30 & 7.7 or online by clicking HERE. All children (whether they attend Calvary or not) must submit their registration by 7.7.
Summer camp at Twin Lakes is right around the corner! If your child is registered for Junior Camp 5 (7.23-28) and is planning to use church transportation, please contact Jen Martakis (jen@calvaryweb.net) by 7.8!

First Impressions Team
Do you like meeting new people? Do you have a heart to help people feel welcome and connected? If so, then the First Call Team may be for you. This is a new team of Calvary members being formed that will make phone calls/send emails to new attenders from the information recieved on the Connection Cards each week. Team members will be assigned a rotating schedule to contact visitors on each Monday or Tuesday. Calls can be made from your home.
