We keep track of numbers because they help us see areas where we need to improve, help us plan for the future, and give us a picture, albeit an incomplete picture, of what God is doing in our midst. And besides, keeping an accounting is biblical. (There is an entire book of the Bible entitled Numbers!)
So here are a few numbers:
Volunteer positions filled at Calvary Church. Wow! That's a lot of "ministers."
The average we give each week as an act of worship.
Orphans we care for at one home in Mitaboni, Kenya. What a testimony we heard from Kenya last Sunday!
Man-hours donated for demo work at the future Life Change Center last weekend.
Approximately what we saved by doing our own demo and clean up!
The amount we committed together to our Even More initiative.
Changing lives forever is a community effort. If you are trying to find your place to serve and change lives here at Calvary, we want to help! Contact our Volunteer Connections Coordinator, Lynette Green, today! And a BIG thank you to each of you for giving and serving. Generosity is the richest way to live our lives and make a difference FOREVER! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
PS This Sunday is Coffee with the Pastors for all newcomers and Calvary visitors. I would love to meet you personally!

Short Term Mission Trips
Serve alongside some of our global partners on a short-term mission trip in 2017. Get details and find the open application periods for all the trips on the Global Outreach webpage. There is an informational meeting for the Family Trip to Guatemala on Sunday 11.20 at 11:15a.
Daylight Saving Time
Remember that we "fall back" this Sunday. Set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night and join us on Sunday morning at 8:15a, 9:45a, or 11:15a. This is the perfect week to try out the 8:15a service since you're getting an extra hour!
Visitors are invited to meet our pastors and ministry leaders for a cup of coffee (or whatever you'd like). Ask questions, interact with Calvary staff, and meet other newcomers.
Can We Pray with You?
Have a need or concern you would like prayer for? Calvary volunteers and staff are at the front of the Worship Center after every Sunday service to pray with anyone who needs support and encouragement. Or contact the church office to be put on the staff prayer list.
It's First Thursday and the guys are getting together. No RSVP needed for this informal, monthly drop-in gathering at area restaurants. Join us to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
Young Adult Gathering
Friday 11.11 @ 7p
This monthly gathering gives young adults a chance to connect and also to grow spiritually. Pastor Jon facilitates the evening and gives plenty of opportunities for conversation, laughter, and community-building.
