Calvary Link: Our Church is Growing!

calvary-link-headerI don't like to talk about numbers very often--but we do find numbers periodically listed in the Bible here and there. Remember the first church was 3,000 members on day one (Acts 2:41). This past Sunday we had our largest membership class ever--with more than 40 adults present for week one of the Catalyst Membership Class. We also packed nearly 1200 people into our worship service (not quite 3,000--but it was awesome) and we raised the roof in praise to "the One who paid our debt and raised this life up from the dead--Jesus!" What a great time of being together with God's people. Do you know why our church is growing? Because God is using you to spread the Word throughout Northwest Indiana and the World.

I'm so proud of you and it is such a joy to be your pastor. I look forward to praising God with you again this weekend and talking about the most interesting man in the world--Jesus! I love it when he gets into arguments with the religious leaders and then uses it to teach everyone a lesson. Check out all the opportunities listed below. And keep inviting your friends--we will find a place for them to sit! Together--we are making a difference.

Love,

Lionel
