Thank you once again to all of you for changing up your Sunday routine for 3 services. You guys are awesome! It is "working" and we are already growing. However, we are already running out of space at 9:45a for visitors. If you can consider attending the 8:15a or 11:15a service--it would help us make room for guests. I promise I will be there with our great staff at all three!
With all the political squabbling going on in Washington these days--it is providential that our text from Mark's Gospel this week is about politics. How does Jesus handle the question of religion and politics? How should we handle it? Find out. We're talking politics from the Word.
This Sunday we are eating and drinking together during and after services (communion and Hangtime). We are also sending Kurt and Sevenglory off to Africa after the worship service to spread the Word through music. What a great time for us to send a team to Nairobi to be with our friends and bring them encouragement! Catalyst for Kids
The Catalyst for Kids course (for kids 8-12) focuses on God’s character, salvation, baptism, and following God’s plan. This is a terrific course for those children interested in being baptized, as well as for those desiring a solid foundation on each week’s topics. This 4-week course meets at 9:45a each Sunday starting this Sunday, October 6 thru October 27. Please click here to register your child by email (please include name, grade, and age of child) or stop by the Children's Welcome Center this Sunday to register. Space is limited. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend the class with their children.
