I was very encouraged to hear such awesome reports from the teens and leaders who just returned from their mission trip to Mitaboni, Africa. They were able to accomplish many different tasks for the children's home including fencing in a large portion of new land that was just purchased for future expansion, along with building and installing new cabinets for the kids' belongings. The teens and leaders all want to say THANK YOU Calvary Church for supporting them with your prayers, your finances, and your service in order to make this trip possible. Please continue to pray with me for lasting fruits in our teen’s lives, and the lives of the orphans that we serve in Mitaboni!
I look forward to worshiping together with you this Sunday as we hear from Pastor Steve Dewitt who is the senior pastor at Bethel Church in Crown Point Indiana. Steve is a gifted communicator who is passionate about the Gospel and helping the church live it out in all areas of their lives. Steve just released a book this year entitled, Eyes Wide Open: Enjoying God in Everything. This book is designed to help you better understand Gods purpose for your joy and wonder in your life.

Reliant & Connect Student Ministries
Student Ministries Parents are encouraged to come hear an update on the youth pastor search process on Sunday, 8.12 from 6-7p in room 300.
Middle and High School Students are traveling to Huntington, Indiana on Friday, 8.10 & 11 for the Fandana Christian Music and Film Festival to hear bands like Chris Tomlin, Family Force 5, Over The Rhine, Sevenglory, and Red Umbrella. Calvary Live
Coming this fall, the Calvary Live album, Mighty Fortress! Some of the most popular worship songs that we sing at Calvary, including two original songs, Mighty Fortress and Life To Life have been recorded by our worship team. This album is the first of more to come, to be a blessing to our congregation and the larger church. We hope you will enjoy spending time in God's presence wherever you find yourself and that this music will encourage you to worship no matter where you are.
Join us tonight from 7-9p and help us finish this album. We will be singing some additional background vocals in the sanctuary. Everyone is invited!
Sabbatical Return Celebration
Sunday, August 26 is the return celebration for our senior pastor! Join us for worship at 9a or 10:45a. After each service, the Youngs will be in the gym to enjoy fellowship time with the church family. Come help us give them a very warm welcome home!
