I believe that the best way to change lives forever is by working as a team. Teamwork is everywhere at Calvary - Global Outreach team, worship team, Student Ministries team, Children’s Ministries team, leadership team, Serve Teams. We even have a preaching TEAM! Yes!
I just want to take a moment and celebrate our team at Calvary from our elders to our pastors, from our committed staff members to the hundreds of volunteers that make up this community. We’ve got a city to reach, a region to transform, and a world that needs the gospel. No ONE person can do it all. Even Jesus modelled this for us. He chose twelve men, sent them out, and together they changed the world.
If you aren’t on the team, what are you waiting for? Jump in and join our church community. Starting Point begins Wednesday, May 17. It's an exploration of church membership and what it means to be Christ-follower. Or volunteer your time like hundreds in our church who are holding open doors—literally and figuratively—so people can discover Jesus Christ. Give your life to something that will change lives forever. If you aren’t sure where to start, you can contact Volunteer Coordinator Lynette Green, who helps get people connected to serve teams.
