Last Sunday morning two new families came up to me after the 8:15a service and said, "We heard Calvary was now offering an early service and we decided to come--and we loved it!" Because of your willingness to make this change for the Gospel, more worshippers are already coming! Thank you for getting up a little earlier (or sleeping in a little later) for the Gospel. Now let's pray for God to use us to fill all three services to overflowing!
This Sunday Knute Larson will be back with us again preaching the second sermon in this series of conflict stories in Mark's Gospel. Jesus is going to tell a story that will make the religious people so mad they will look for a way to kill Him. And there is an important lesson in the story for us. Kurt and the band are ready to lead us in worship--and call us to follow--not reject--the Christ. I hope you have enjoyed the new song we have been singing--Christ is Enough (Hillsong). We're gonna sing it again.

Calvary is hosting a Christian college fair and Family Force 5 concert on Sunday September 29th. Come speak with representatives and learn about the opportunities available at 30+ Christian colleges! Catalyst for Kids
The Catalyst for Kids course (for kids 8-12) focuses on God’s character, salvation, baptism, and following God’s plan. This is a terrific course for those children interested in being baptized, as well as for those desiring a solid foundation on each week’s topics. This 4-week course meets at 9:45a each Sunday starting October 6 thru October 27. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend the class with their children.
